My kids love spaceships, astronautas and interstellar adventures so when we heard about the new Miles From Tomorrowland show from Disney Junior we where really excited. We threw a fun space themed party to watch it along with some of my children’s friends and had lots of fun creative space themed treats and watching Miles From Tomorrowland.
We also created some party printables that you can download HERE so you can also throw your own Miles From Tomorrowland party as you start the countdown to the premiere of Miles from Tomorrowland Space Mission: Mars on Saturday, September 19th at 9 am/8c! The printables include space themed cupcake wrappers, cupcake toppers, spaceships to decorate the straws for your alien goo drink and treat boxes too!
All of the kids enjoyed watching the Miles From Tomorrowland video reel and I it was great to see that the show is filled with science facts which come straight from NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory among other experts and consultants. During the series Miles Callisto and his family travel the galaxy via the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. The series focuses on the importance of science, technology, engineering and math and is a great way to introduce kids to STEM in a fun way.
Miles From Tomorrowland Party Ideas
- Create fun alien treats using green colored chocolate, the one you use for melting and adding edible eyes.
- Make alien good drinks by mixing lemon/lime soda, green Hawaiian punch and lime sorbet, place in mason jars and finish off with fun straws decorated with a spaceship.
- Buy a spaceship or rocket piñata and use as part of your decoration, later you can remove it from the decoration.
- Rocket treats: create delicious chocolate rockets using chocolate Little Debbie cakes as the hull of the space ship , mini Reeses for the top and chocolate Pirrouettes as the rockets.
- Use the printables HERE to create Miles From Tomorrowland cupcake toppers and cupcake wrappers.
