Safari Party Ideas to Celebrate The Lion King Now Available on Digital and Blu-ray #TheLionKing

Today we are celebrating that one of my all time favorite Disney movies: “The Lion King”  is coming out of the vault!  It’s amazing to think that it has already been 23 years since “The Lion King” was released in theaters. The Lion King was one of my favorite films as a teenager and this Disney movie holds a very special place in my heart.  I shared my love for “The Lion King” with a good friend. We used to joke around that he was just like Pumba and I was just like Timon. We traveled to Walt Disney World together twice and on one of those trips he bought a Pumba and Timon for me and I still keep them. He passed away a few years later and “The Lion King”, especially the Pumba and Timon characters always bring back fond memories of him and our fun adventures at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Now that The Lion King has been released on Digital and Disney Movies Anywhere and is available on Blu-ray and DVD I can not wait to watch it again with my kids, and share this with them!

Love your Safari cups idea. I have some zebra printed duct tape that I bought for another craft but I could easily use it to make some safari cups for when we watch The Lion King. I am so excited about this re-release. It’s definitely one we’re adding to our dvd/blu-ray collection.
