Bebe Lanugo Latino Inspired Products for Your Niños

I was provided with a Bebe Lanugo T-shirt so that I could provide a review. However all opinions are my own.

During this year’s Hispanicize conference in Miami I was delighted to meet Bebe Lanugo founder, mompreneur and fellow Latina Carla Curiel. As a Latina trying to pass the culture and values I grew up with in Guatemala to my own children her products truly spoke to me in a language of love. Not only is Bebe Lanugo’s line of Latino inspired products in Spanish but they also feature popular dichos and refranes that are intrinsically woven into our culture and our traditions.

Bebe Lanugo’s high-quality design kid-oriented products highlight the richness of our Hispanic culture and support Mamás like us that understand the challenges of raising bilingual and bicultural kids. From a line of cute baby gowns, onesies and T-shirts for preschoolers to totes, water bottles and wall decor Bebe Lanugo’s designs present warm and fun characters: a bunny, a sheep or a cerdito paired up with some of my favorite dichos.

I chose a “De Tal Palo, Tal Astilla” T-shirt for my little guy for many reasons. This popular refran brings back vivid and happy memories of my childhood as I have always been told I look just like my dad so I heard that dicho a lot growing up. I also feel like my little guy is so much like my husband that I really felt like this design was just perfect for him. I also love that this T-shirt features two quetzals, Guatemala’s national bird!

Some of my other favorite dichos featured in Bebe Lanugo’s products include :  “A quien madruga, Dios lo ayuda”, “La vida es un carnaval”, “Barriguita llena, corazón contento” and “El que no llora, no mama”.

The Bebe Lanugo products are a great and fun way for our kids to wear their Hispanic heritage and look beautiful doing it!
