un gran significado emocional. Al crecer en Guatemala, solo com\u00edamos bacalao a la Vizca\u00edna una vez al a\u00f1o, lo que hac\u00eda que este plato fuera especial. No solo es un platillo tradicional preparado para la Semana Santa.<\/p>\n<p>Dado que no hay bacalao en Guatemala, al ser un pescado de agua fr\u00eda, el bacalao seco y salado solo est\u00e1 disponible durante este tiempo. Durante la Semana Santa, \u00edbamos a nuestra casa en la playa cada a\u00f1o y mi mam\u00e1 siempre llevaba el bacalao. De ni\u00f1o, no dir\u00eda que me gustaba este plato; no era un gran fan\u00e1tico del pescado. Es gracioso pensar que me quejaba e intentaba evitar comerlo. \u00a1Y ahora me encanta!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Una Tradici\u00f3n Familiar Bacalao a la Vizca\u00edna<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Como es la tradici\u00f3n, el bacalao a la Vizca\u00edna siempre se preparaba el Viernes Santo. Desafortunadamente, era lo \u00fanico para el almuerzo ese d\u00eda en mi casa, as\u00ed que no ten\u00eda opci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, me encantaba el delicioso recado con base de tomate y muchas alcaparras y aceitunas (soy un gran fan\u00e1tico de las aceitunas). A medida que fui creciendo, empec\u00e9 a disfrutar este plato y ahora me encanta prepararlo para mi familia.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora que estoy lejos de casa, me siento m\u00e1s cerca de mis ra\u00edces y seres queridos cada vez que preparo bacalao a la Vizca\u00edna.
