Easy Homemade Pumpkin Butter

  • 1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • tsp pumpkin spice
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch of sea salt


  1. Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan stirring until well combined.
  2. Heat them over medium-high until the mixture boils.
  3. Reduce heat to a simmer.
  4. Cook uncovered for 15-20 minutes stirring the mixture every few minutes until it reaches the desired thickness.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool.
  6. Transfer to a mason jar.
