Conveniently Located Near Central Florida’s Top Attractions

One of the first things that drew us to FantasyWorld Resort was its ideal location. The resort is just 4 miles from Walt Disney World, 8 miles from SeaWorld, and 12 miles from Universal Studios, making it a perfect base for exploring the best of Central Florida. FantasyWorld even offers shuttle service to Disney parks, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld, which saved you time and money on parking while eliminating the stress of driving.

Being in Kissimmee also meant we were close to countless restaurants, shopping centers, and grocery stores, so everything we needed was right at our fingertips.

Why a Townhouse is Perfect for Families

Instead of cramming into a single hotel room, we stayed in one of FantasyWorld’s two-bedroom townhouses, and it was a game changer. With 1,000 square feet of space, there was more than enough room for everyone to relax after busy days. My teens loved having their own bedroom upstairs, and I appreciated the privacy of a separate master bedroom.

The living room and dining room gave us plenty of space to come together as a family, whether it was enjoying a home-cooked meal or just hanging out after a busy day. It was so nice to have a comfortable place where we could laugh over board games or chat about our favorite moments from the trip. These shared moments made the townhouse feel like more than just a place to stay—it felt like home.

The full kitchen made mornings so much easier—we could cook breakfast or pack snacks for the day. And the washer and dryer in the townhouse were a lifesaver, especially after days spent at the pool. Having this much space and these conveniences made us feel like we had our own vacation home.

This setup is also perfect for extended family trips. If you’re traveling with grandparents or other relatives, everyone can stay in their own townhouse for privacy but still gather for meals or activities. It’s a great way to stay close without feeling cramped.

Activities That Bring the Fun

FantasyWorld Resort is packed with activities, and it’s clear that they’ve thought of something for everyone. The water park area was, hands down, one of our favorite parts of the trip.

The lazy river was an absolute hit. Floating along its winding path, we were surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees, and the waterfall and arched water spouts made it even more fun. My teens kept racing down the two giant water slides, which are three stories high and so thrilling that they never seemed to get tired of them.

For families with younger kids, the splash pad is a perfect place to let little ones play safely, and the zero-entry pool makes it easy for everyone to enjoy the water. There’s also a Junior Olympic-sized pool in another area of the resort for those who want a quieter swim.

If you’re looking to unwind, the resort has three hot tubs, and the outdoor fireplace is the perfect spot to relax in the evenings. My teens also loved the mini-golf course, and we had so much fun at the arcade. For a bit of adventure, there’s even a rock-climbing wall, making it impossible to run out of things to do.

The resort also offers poolside activities from Bingo and trivia to scavenger hunts and crafts and build a teddy activities (charges may apply to some of the craft activities), so there’s always something happening at the main pool, whether you’re looking to join in or just watch from the sidelines.

Dining Options for Every Taste

One of the best parts of staying at FantasyWorld Resort was the variety of dining options available. On days we didn’t feel like cooking in the kitchen, we could grab a bite at the resort’s River Landing Bar and Grill, which is conveniently located poolside. It was so nice to enjoy a casual meal or a snack without leaving the property.

We also loved how easy it was to order groceries for delivery, making it simple to prepare meals when we wanted to stay in. And if you’re in the mood for dining out, the resort is just minutes from a variety of restaurants offering everything from Mexican and Puerto Rican food to Italian, Indian, and classic American fare. Whether you’re craving pizza, burgers, or Cuban sandwiches, you’ll find something nearby.

Affordable Townhouse Accomodations in Kissimmee Perfect for Families

When it comes to pricing, FantasyWorld Resort is a fantastic value. The townhouses are usually under $200 per night, which is such a steal considering the space and amenities you get. The resort fee of $29.99 per night covers access to the pools, lazy river, water slides, splash pad, hot tubs, and even the shuttle service to the theme parks. It’s hard to find this level of comfort, convenience, and entertainment at this price point anywhere else in the area. Check their website for nightly rates (there is a 3 night minimum stay) and special offers, including special rates for first responders, military, AAA members and Florida and Georgia residents among others.

Why We Loved Staying Here

What truly set FantasyWorld Resort apart for us was the combination of space, fun, and convenience. It wasn’t just a place to sleep—it was a place to create memories. From floating in the lazy river to gathering around the dining table for family meals, everything about our stay felt personal and special.

While we didn’t bring our dogs this time, we were so happy to learn that FantasyWorld Resort is pet-friendly. Knowing that we can bring our furry family members along next time makes it even more appealing. It’s always great to find a place where pets are just as welcome as we are!

If you’re looking for a family-friendly resort that offers so much more than a traditional hotel, FantasyWorld Resort should be at the top of your list. It’s the perfect base for exploring the magic of Central Florida while having plenty of space and activities to enjoy together.

We’re already planning our next visit, and this time, the dogs are coming too!
