So, when we decided to take a quick trip to Orlando with my brother and his family, I was so excited to enjoy some time away together as a family. One of the best parts of this family trip was where we stayed. The Balmoral Resort in Orlando had everything we could ever need – from amazing accommodations and tons of family fun to gorgeous grounds.
And the best part was that we could spend lots of quality time with extended family because we were all staying together.

Our four-bedroom villa had an amazing screened-in pool, which is where we spent most of our time! But we also enjoyed the sleek, modern kitchen and comfortable bedrooms.
We loved that we got to stay in our own private home during our trip! The first thing we noticed as we entered our vacation home was the attention to detail. From the table set and ready for dinner to the kitchen stocked with assorted pantry items (available for an additional fee), everything was ready for us to start enjoying our vacation right away!
The rooms are spacious and bright and each bedroom is equipped with its own private bathroom. We loved the contemporary and comfortable design.
The open space living area features comfortable furniture perfect for relaxing after a day at the. It was the perfect space for coming together each night after a day of fun at the parks.
And while having our own private pool was awesome, the resort is also home to two other pools guests can enjoy. The lakefront pool offers beautiful views as well as a full-service restaurant. While the heated spa pool is great for relaxation.
My kid’s loved the water park and spent a lot of time on the waterslides. And families with little ones will love the splash playground and beach entry section of the park.
It was wonderful to have a waterpark included in our stay as we did not have to spend on taking the kids to any outside waterparks and they had a blast!
But playing in the water isn’t the only way for your family to pass the time at Balmoral Resort. The resort is also home to an on-site arcade with classic games adults will love and a variety of modern games for the kids. Families can also have a blast playing outside on the on-site putt putt golf course or enjoying a game of volleyball on the sand court.
The gated community is beautiful and it really feels like a neighborhood. My kids loved being able to walk to the waterpark by themselves since it was just a couple of blocks away from our vacation rental. And I was in love with the gorgeous lake views. It really felt like a home away from home and it was so hard to leave!
The resort also offers tons of nighttime fun! In addition to a great on-site restaurant, Balmoral also hosts a live band and DJ every week, as well as a kid-friendly outdoor movie screening with free popcorn.
