Chocolate Fruit Pizza Cookies

This recipe starts with easiest and most delicious chocolate chocolate chip cookies. Soft and chewy it’s really hard to believe these chocolate cookies are so good and when you top them with cream cheese frosting and fruit they’re just next level amazing!

One of the most popular recipes we have in the blog is for a cookie fruit pizza we made for Day of the Dead a few years ago. And mini cookie fruit pizzas remain one of our favorite things to make with the kids but we had never tried making a chocolate cookie pizza until now.

The result was so much better than we ever hoped for. The combination of the soft and chewy double chocolate cookies with the light, sweet and creamy yogurt cream cheese frosting, and the fresh fruit is to die for.

These make for a great after school snack, dessert or sweet treat anytime. They are also a great option for a cookie exchange party and the perfect Christmas cookie recipe. They are ready in no time and they not only taste great but also look impressive.

To make these you can use any fruit you have in the house. We used mango, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and kiwi. 

Easy Chocolate Fruit Pizza Cookies 

Ingredients for chocolate chocolate chip cookies

  • 1 box fudge brownie mix (we used Betty Crocker)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water

Ingredients for yogurt cream cheese frosting

  • 1/4 cup plus 3 tbsp low-fat cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
  • 5 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Fruit topping

  • Fruit (we used mango, kiwi and berries)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl add brownie mix, melted butter, chocolate chips, egg and water and mix until you have a soft dough. Let stand 15 minutes.
  • Shape dough into balls 1 ½ in balls. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and place cookie balls about 2 inches apart. Press each ball slightly to flatten.

  • Bake 9 to 11 min or until edges are set (center will appear slightly wet). After a few minutes remove from the cookie sheets to a cooling rack.
  • While the cookies are baking blend the cream cheese, yogurt, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.

  • Once the cookies have cooled down completely top with frosting and add the fruit. Serve immediately.
