As I shared in a previous post I will be attending a marketing networking meeting soon and it’s very important for me to dress in a way that will communicate my professionalism and send a positive image not only about myself but also about the non-profit I am representing. I am fairly new at my job and I am new to the non-profit business scene in the area so most of the people there will not know me. That means I?have to make a great first impression.
I visited jcpenney to purchase two new outfits. I had not been to jcpenney in a few months and was pleasantly surprised by their new layout. The store has been renovated and they are in the process of rolling out their Shops concept. Shopping the Liz Claiborne collection at jcpenney felt like I was shopping at a boutique, it made the shopping experience so much fun and a lot more personal. There where so many things to choose from and with the affordable prices I was really able to stretch my money and get many beautiful pieces and even a couple of handbags. I loved the classic style, the great colors and the great prices that the Liz Claiborne collection at jcpenney had to offer.
I need your help to pick out the right look for this event, I want to look good and professional but also want to stand out so people don’t forget me. Please help me make a great impression at my networking event by picking your favorite outfit. Which one looks better on me?
Outfit 1
I got the Liz Claiborne Audra Straight-Leg Pants in black, a basic with a classic style and paired it with the Liz Claiborne Sleeveless Cowl-Neck Top. I love animal prints and I think the cowl-neck looks great on me always. To give it a more professional looks I also got theLiz Claiborne 3/4-Sleeve Box Jacket. I really liked this jacket because it’s quite different and modern, love the texture and it’s versatility. To accent it I also bought the Liz Claiborne Hang Ten Satchel Handbag in a cream color.
Outfit 2
This Printed Wrap Dress has the perfect fit for my body type and I love the color and print. I usually go for earth colors and don’t have any blue in my wardrobe but this just looks amazing. Such a wonderful fall dress. It’s a little low cut but I tried putting a black top underneath and it looks great and I still can’t believe I paid only $35 for this dress. I paired this with the black Liz Claiborne Lexington Shopper Bag. This bag is just he right size and it has lots of compartments so that I can keep everything organized.
