Celebrating National Cheese Curd Day At Culvers

This is a sponsored post in partnership with Culver’s. However, all opinions are my own.

I have a confession to make; until recently I had never had a cheese curd. I had heard about the deliciousness of this Wisconsin state treasure but it wasn’t until a few months ago that I experienced this squeaky delicacy for the first time. But little did I know that this was just the beginning; you see fresh cheese curds are scrumptious but hot, melty, ooey-gooey cheese curds are heavenly and I love that I can have these snackable, bite-sized chunks of happiness at Culver’s (no need to make the trek to Wisconsin)! Culver’s Cheese Curds are chunks of white and yellow Cheddar cheese, breaded and deep-fried resulting in a warm, buttery center with a crispy crunchy exterior. They are simply A-MA-ZING! I could seriously have these every day.

Now that I have been introduced to this cheesy deliciousness that is cheese curds I am ready to share my discovery with the world and celebrate cheese curds in all of their melty, warm glory! And what better way to revere these cheesy delicacies than to celebrate them in all their cheesy glory on October 15th: National Cheese Curd Day!

To get ready for the celebration I have started training for the big day. Today I stopped by Culvers where I had lunch with my wife and shared with her my love for cheese curds. She agreed that Culvers had created in their cheese curds the perfect storm of awesome cheese meltability resulting in the smooth and creamy strechiness that is impossible to resist.

While we were there we decided to try the new fall inspired frozen custard mixers. I had the Salted Caramel Concrete Mixer made with real pumpkin puree, Culver’s delicious frozen custard, and salted caramel: it’s like enjoying the sweetness and comfort of fall with a spoon.

When you visit Culver’s and order your cheese curds your experience will not be complete unless you perform the infamous “cheese curd pull”. For your cheese curd pull to be a complete success be sure to grab a warm cheese curd with both hands and gently pull it apart to reveal its stretchy melted center: this is an experience that is nothing short of magical!
