Easy Mango Wine Mojito Recipe

This easy mango wine mojito recipe is the perfect summer cocktail. It’s tropical flavor is far from the usual wine cocktails. Made with Sutter Home Sauvignon Blanc this take on the traditional mojito is lighter and more refreshing and in my opinion tastes better than a mango mojito made with rum!

As the temperature rises here in Florida I look forward to the weekends getting together with friends and family, grilling outdoors and enjoying time in the lanai with a refreshing drink. We always have a few bottles of Sutter Home in the refrigerator. I really enjoy having a refreshing glass of Sutter Home Sauvignon Blanc to unwind and relax at the end of the day or to share with friends and family as we grill some burgers or some ribs.

But this time I wanted to try something different and decided to create a wine mojito. I had some mango juice in the fridge and thought the flavor combination would be ideal and it was!

Easy Mango Wine Mojito Recipe

Ingredients

• ½ cup Sutter Homes sauvignon blanc chilled
• 1 cup mango juice
• 6 fresh mint leaves
• 1 teaspoon agave syrup
• ice
• lime slices for garnish

Instructions

1. Place the mint leaves in the bottom of the glass, lightly tap the leaves with the round spoon part of a wooden spoon - do not mush or make into a mint mash.
2. Add the lime juice.
3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
4. Add the mango juice, the agave syrup and the wine.
5. Mix well.
6. Add a lime wedge as garnish.

We like the Sutter Home wines because there are lots of different varietals and they are very affordable. We always have a few bottles chilling in the refrigerator and that way we have something for everyone when we have friends and family over.

Sutter Home wines are the perfect summer entertaining drink and you can use them to crate light and refreshing cocktails, all you need is a little creativity! Now that I have realized how easy wine mojitos are to make I plan to experiment and make some other versions and maybe I will even make a wine based margarita as well.
