I’ve been on the look out for some Halloween snacks that are not filled with sugar or food coloring. I needed something salty that my kids would actually eat and that we could make together.
I love using cookie cutters, they are so versatile and you can use them for so many different things. We got a bunch of cute Halloween cookie cutters and I decided to use them to make our Halloween snacks.
I bought some piecrust dough and used the cookie cutters to cut fun Halloween shapes, added some parmesan cheese, baked and in minutes I had lots of cute, crunchy and cheese treats that my kids devoured.

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 8 minutes
Total Time 18 minutes
Ingredients
- Halloween cookie cutters
- Ready to bake pie crust
- ½ cup of shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375F. Put the ready-made pie crust, I used Pillsbury, on a piece of waxed paper. Cut with cookie cutters. Gather the leftovers, press together until you make a small ball and use a roller to roll the dough until it is the same thickness as the original pie crust. Continue cutting with the cookie cutters until you have used all the dough.

Mix one egg with two tablespoons of water or milk to make egg wash. Brush egg wash on the cut dough shapes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Pace the dough Halloween shapes on the cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
