Disclosure: I received one or more free products from Anatomie in order to do a review, however all opinions are my own and are sincere.
As many of you might have noticed I have been traveling a lot lately and although I have always liked to travel now that I am having to pack a suite case not only for myself but also for my two kids at least twice a month I have learned some hard lessons when it comes to packing. You see I used to be an over-packer, I mean you never know what opportunities might come up and you want to be prepared for any situation or event from a rainy day to a surprise invitation to the opera, right? So I packed big suitcases I had to lug around everywhere and half the stuff I had in there never got used. Now I pack lighter and smarted and it makes all the difference.
Tips for Packing When You Travel
Plan ahead: When I traveled as a single woman I would do a bit of research about the places I was going to visit but I usually didn’t want to make too many plans because I wanted to leave some room for adventure. I have learned that planning lets you see more, do more and enjoy your trip more and adventure is something that finds it’s way into every trip so there is no need to worry about that. Planning has become specially important now that I travel with my family and being prepared makes the difference between a trip that can end up in disaster or a family trip that is fun and memorable (in a good way) . I’m not saying you should not remain flexible, because being willing to change plans on the fly when kids are involved is crucial but if you know you will be spending most of the time at the beach there is just no need to pack that sparkly cocktail dress is there?
Pack clothes that travel well. By this I mean stylish clothes that travel well and yes this is possible! I was recently introduced to Anatomie, a line of stylish travel clothing and I have to say I have a favorite brand of clothing! I was sent their Monica dress in red and besides fitting me perfectly and looking gorgeous this dress is the perfect piece for traveling. It’s stylish and can be used for a stroll around the city or you can accesorize it and use at for a nice dinner date or a cocktail. It’s so light weight that you can layer over it and the best part is this dress does not need ironing, is machine washable and it dries super fast.
Pack light: Choose clothing that is light weight. Did I mention that the Anatomie travel pants weigh only 6 ounces?! Pack pieces that you can mix and match so that you can get many outfits from just a few pieces. Accessorize to dress up or dress down your look.
Why I fell in love with Anatomie Travel Clothing
Besides the fact that this is now my favorite dress not only because if fits perfectly and feels great but because I have never had so many compliments on the way I look as I have with this dress. , I’m even wearing this dress on my Facebook profile and all of my social media profiles now.
Anatomie travel clothes are durable, stylish, versatile, wrinkle free, machine washable, super light weight and they never fade.

what a gorgeous dress and simple fits all occasions
You had me at wrinkle free. That would be such a time saver regardless of if you are or are not traveling.
I want to travel someday, alone, in Europe. This is in my bucket list that I want to pursue before I turn 50, which by the way, is still way too far.
That dress is gorgeous on you! You are right, it is possible to find clothes that travel well.
That dress looks great on you!! And I must agree, packing light and only items that travel well is definitely important! Who has time to iron on vacation?
Nice dress! I like that you can dress it up or down, and still be comfortable. And I’m with you on packing clothing that you can mix and match. It makes it so much easier to get dressed when you don’t have to spend time putting outfits together.
