This delicious recipe for tuna and guacamole tostadas is ready in minutes and there’s no cooking or heating required.
Home-cooked meals are an important part of our family dinners. But, making a meal from scratch doesn’t mean you have to spend hours in the kitchen. After taking the kids to soccer practice, horseback riding and robotics club I have no time or energy left for cooking. That is why I always have a handful of easy, no-cook kid-friendly recipes on hand for those busy weekday nights.
Tacos and tostadas are always some of our favorite recipes. Ever since I first tried them, I’ve been obsessed with StarKist Selects E.V.O.O.® Pouches and have been wanting to add them to some of our favorite recipes. That is how I came up with the idea to make these guacamole and tuna tostadas.
To make them I started with some store-bought guacamole. Feel free to use your favorite guacamole recipe or use store-bought guacamole, there’s no judgment here. The idea with this recipe is to get a delicious dinner on the table in minutes so that you can focus on spending quality time with your family.
If you don’t have tostadas at home they are super simple to make. Just brush some olive oil on both sides of a tortilla and bake for a few minutes until golden brown and crunchy.
What makes these tuna and guacamole tostadas a family favorite is the delicious flavor and soft, flaky texture of the StarKist Selects E.V.O.O.® Yellowfin Tuna. There’s nothing I dislike more than mushy tuna and that is why I love using StarKist Selects E.V.O.O.®.
StarKist Selects E.V.O.O.® Pouches are packed in cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil and they are easy to store and to take on the go too. We always have a few in our pantry, especially during hurricane season. The StarKist Selects E.V.O.O.® Yellowfin Tuna with Sun-dried Tomato is our favorite when it comes to taste and it’s great to eat straight out of the packet or add to a sandwich.
StarKist Selects E.V.O.O.® Yellowfin Tuna and StarKist Selects E.V.O.O.® Wild-Caught Pink Salmon have a rich, mellow flavor with just a few simple ingredients so they’re so versatile and perfect for adding to quick and easy recipes like this one. They are also great on salads!
And StarKist Selects E.V.O.O.® Tuna and Salmon is wild-caught and always a natural source of Omega 3s. This is a great plus because my kids are not huge fans of fish in general but they will devour these tuna and guacamole tostadas.

Do you have an own recipe for guacamole too? I’m dying for a well-written recipe. 🙂
Yum, this looks so amazing! What a perfect lunch. I love that there’s guacamole.
omg yessss!!!! Tuna and guacamole taco looks sooooo delicious and very easy to prepare, THANK YOU.
This recipe looks great, I love avocado and tuna, never thought about giving my avocado toast this twist with tuna. I’ll definitely will try this.
I have growing boys that often get hungry in an instant! I’ll have to use this recipe to fill in those times in particular, especially when I want them getting more protein!
Love tostadas! I never thought about combining tuna and guacamole before, but this sounds great. They’re perfect for a quick lunch — easy to make! Thanks for sharing!
Tuna and avocado pair so well together. I often combine the two with some Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel seasoning and it always delicious.
Mmmm! These look so good! I’d have to replace the tuna with…idk, homemade chicken salad, or shrimp salad. Tasty, tasty dish! And pretty.
Oh man, these sound really good! I might try them with chicken instead of tuna though.
I love this combination! This gives me an idea for the weekend. But I don’t want to make my own tostilla. I will just buy at the store and make my own topping. 🙂 Thanks for the idea.
Wow, looks so yummy! I love the Starkist packets of tuna and used to get them all the time. Loved coming across this post and I am definitely picking up some on my next grocery run!
