Halloween is just around the corner and we are counting the days for October 31st to arrive as it is one of our favorite holidays. We throw a little Halloween party every year and this year I’m excited about showing off these frightfully delicious Halloween party foods ! The best part is that these Halloween recipes are all so easy to make and incorporate products my family already loves like Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips and Tyson® Chicken Nuggets, State Fair® Corn Dogs and Hillshire Farms® Lit’l’Smokies® Smoked Sausage.

Frankenstein Monsters made with State Fair® Corn Dogs

These deliciously spooky Frankensteins on a stick are painted green with egg wash and have a little added crunch thanks to the black tortilla chip hair.

Corn Dog Frankenstein Monsters

Corn Dog Frankenstein Monsters

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • State Fair® Corn Dogs
  • Green food coloring
  • 1 egg + 2 tablespoons of water for egg wash
  • Black olives
  • Peanut butter
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Candy googly eyes
  • Black tortilla chips

Instructions

    1. Mix the egg and water to make egg wash.
    2. Add a few drops of green food coloring to the egg wash until you achieve a deep green. Brush egg wash on corn dogs.
    3. Bake corn dogs according to instructions.
    4. Cut thin strips of black olives and crush the tortilla chips.
    5. Once the corn dogs have cooled put some peanut butter on the top of each corn dog using a spatula and dip in crushed black tortilla chips to create Frankenstein’s hair.
    6. Put a small dab of peanut butter behind each candy googly eye and attach the eyes to your green corn dog.
    7. Gently press a pretzel stick into each side of Frankenstein’s head.
    8. Using a toothpick trace Frankenstein’s mouth and scar with peanut butter. Gently press your black olive strips onto the peanut butter to make the mouth and scar.

  • Candy googly eyes
  • Peanut butter
  • Pretzels

Instructions

    1. Prepare the Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips as instructed.
    2. Break the pretzels to make the legs.
    3. Insert the legs into the chicken strips.
    4. Put a small dab of peanut butter behind each candy googly eye and attach the eyes to your chicken strips.

  • Tyson® Chicken Nuggets
  • Candy googly eyes in different sizes
  • Black olives
  • Peanut butter
  • 1 white cheese slices

Instructions

      1. Prepare the Tyson® Chicken Nuggets as instructed.
      2. Cut thin strips of black olives.
      3. Put a small dab of peanut butter behind each candy googly eye and attach the eyes to your chicken nuggets. Play around and use eyes of different sizes or use one, two or more eyes for each monster.
      4. Using a toothpick trace a mouth with peanut butter onto each of your monsters.
      5. Gently press your black olive strips onto the peanut butter to make each monster’s mouth.
      6. Cut pointed teeth out of the cheese slice and stick to the chicken nuggets using peanut butter.

  • Candy Eyeballs
  • Peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Wrap the Hillshire Farm® Lit’l Smokies® Smoked Sausage in thin strips of dough.
  2. Place the little mummies in the oven and bake at 350F for about 10 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven and cool.
  4. Add ketchup candy eyeballs using peanut butter to attach them and serve.

Ingredients

  • Tyson® Chicken Nuggets
  • Guacamole
  • Tortillas
  • Black olives
  • Black food marker
  • Peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tyson® Chicken Nuggets as instructed.
  2. Cut out a spooky tree silhouette and a ghost silhouette from your tortillas.
  3. Place your ghost and tree in the oven and bake at 350F for 3-5 minutes or until the tortillas are toasted.
  4. Let your tortilla tree and ghost cool off.
  5. Using a black food marker make the ghost’s eyes and mouth.
  6. Fill a small plate with the guacamole.
  7. Cut some thin strips from the black olives.
  8. Using the black olive strips write RIP on the chicken nuggets, attach the olive strips to the nugget using peanut butter. You can apply the peanut butter using a toothpick.
  9. Carefully insert your tree, ghost and chicken nugget.
