These Angus beef meatballs with avocado chimichurri sauce are the perfect easy appetizer for the holidays or any occasion.
If you’re looking for a delicious holiday appetizer that is sure to be a total hit this recipe for chimichurri meatballs will do the trick. The secret to making this quick and easy appetizer is using Cooked Perfect Angus Beef Meatballs.
I am a huge fan of traditional chimichurri which I usually put on steak. However, this avocado chimichurri is, by far, the best chimichurri sauce I’ve ever had. This version is so much creamier and smoother. I could just add it to everything, from chicken and steak to fish. When drizzled over the Angus meatballs the combination of flavors and textures is just sublime. The fresh, smooth and tangy taste of this avocado chimichurri balances and enhances the flavor of the meatballs.
The best frozen meatballs
I love meatballs but they’re just so time-consuming to make. I’ve tried a lot of frozen meatballs and the Cooked Perfect Angus Beef Meatballs are my favorite. Cooked Perfect Meatballs taste amazing. They remind me of the homemade meatballs my grandma used to make.
Cooked Perfect Meatballs taste just like homemade because they are flame-broiled to sear in the natural juices and flavors! They are fully cooked, so they take only minutes to prepare in a microwave oven or on a stovetop. It’s no wonder Cooked Perfect is the #1 frozen meatball brand in the U.S.!
It’s so easy to heat them in the oven or the microwave and use them as the base for so many recipes. From making meatball sandwiches to adding meatballs to our favorite pasta or soup. And of course Cooked Perfect meatballs make a quick and delicious appetizer, there are so many ways to cook them.
I always stock up on Cooked Perfect meatballs at Walmart. The Cooked Perfect Angus Beef Meatballs are my favorite but I also love their other varieties including Homestyle, Italian Style, and Turkey.
Giving back with Toys for Tots
During the Holiday season, I can feel even better about buying Cooked Perfect Meatballs as they are donating a portion of sales to Toys for Tots. Toys for Tots is a cause we give to every year and I love to see a brand supporting causes we are passionate about.
You can also support Toys for Tots by buying Cooked Perfect Meatballs at Walmart. It’s a win-win situation. You’re buying a product that will make your life easier and more delicious during the holiday season and supporting a great cause too!
What is chimichurri sauce
Chimichurri is a traditional Argentinian sauce made with parsley, oregano and lots of garlic. It’s red version can also include tomato and red pepper.
Chimichurri is traditionally used to top grilled meats and sausages. As chimichurri has become more pupular outside of Argentina a lot of different versions have popped up. Some of them include a combination of parsley and cilantro, which is the version I based myself on for this recipe.
