Growing up I always remember my grandmother’s house as having a special scents and to this day when I encounter a similar scent it always seems to transport me right back to my abuelita’s house. There is just something about scents and how we connect them with memories, with people and with places. There are scents that remind me of my country, Guatemala and other scents that bring back memories of my loved ones.
At home we always use Charmin toilet paper and I was happy to join this campaign because I got to sample the new Charmin scented rolls. Each roll has the scent of Chamomile added to the tube to create a bathroom experience that truly soothes all of the senses. If you are a stay at home mom or work from home mom you know that sometimes the bathroom can become a sacred place where you go to find peace and quiet. It’s one of the only places where you get to be alone with your thoughts and away from the hustle and bustle of motherhood. And now when I go into the bathroom I am greeted by the sweet smell of Chamomile that not only soothes and creates a relaxing and welcoming mood but it also bring back memories of my childhood and transports me to a special place.
I did not know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised with the Charmin scent bath tissue as the scent was not overwhelming and even my little one loved it. The idea came about because in Latin America many families scented their bathroom tissue and this is a small way in which this tradition that can now be carried on.

Beginning in August, Charmin with the scent of Chamomile is available at your favorite retailer throughout the US.
If you live in Chicago you can check out Chicago’s Festival de la Villita in September, where Charmin will be on-site giving consumers an opportunity to see, feel and experience the Chamomile scent first-hand via upgraded bathrooms and a spa-like environment.
You can learn more about this and other Charmin products by visiting the Charmin website, liking the Charmin Facebook Page and following @CharminLatino on Twitter.

La verdad que no lo he visto en la tienda, lo voy a buscar a ver como huele. Capaz le lleve a mi mamá un paquete cuando vaya a Venezuela porque ella adora charmin!
Me gustaría probarlo porque la camomila huele tan rico.
jehe Preciosa, some of my family scented the bathroom, but it definitely wasn’t with Chamomile!! In BBs family chamomile is for tea- not pee. ; ) Seriously though, I can see where that would leave a calming scent; just might give it a try. BB2U
Tengo que probar esta linea!!
