To make this delightful Easter treat, you’ll need some basic ingredients that can be easily found at any grocery store. Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients:
- 8oz mason jars
- 3 cups Strawberry ice cream
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 cup of frozen strawberries
- chocolate melts
- Multicolored pastel sprinkles
- Pink sugar pearls or sanding sugar
- Pastel-colored small meringues
- Green candy melts
- Pink cotton candy
- 2 wafer or ladyfinger cookies
- Festive paper straws in pastel colors
Instructions:
- Melt the green candy melts according to package instructions. Spread a bit of the melted candy inside each glass or mason jar, using a spoon.
- Melt the chocolate candy melts and dip about 1 inch of the rims of the glasses into the melted chocolate.
- Dip about 1 inch of the rims of the glasses into a small dish of vanilla frosting.
- Wait a few minutes and gently press the meringue cookies to the chocolate.
- Place the glasses in the refrigerator to set.
- In a blender, mix together the strawberry ice cream, milk, and a strawberries until smooth. Add more strawberries as needed to achieve the desired shade of pink.
- Pour the milkshake into the prepared glasses, filling them about three-quarters of the way full.
- Top each milkshake with a generous amount of pink cotton candy.
- To make the bunny ears spread some vanilla frosting in the center of each cookie and press them into a dish of pink sprinkles to coat the frosting. Insert the bunny ears into the cotton candy on top of each milkshake.
- Sprinkle multicolored sprinkles on top of the cotton candy to add extra color and fun. I used some pastel colores sprinkles that work well for the Easter theme.
- Insert a festive paper straw into each glass and serve immediately.
