Summer is fast approaching and if you want some new, refreshing mocktails to cool down with Dasani Sparking and I have teamed up to create a refreshing drink, sans alcohol, to enjoy.  If you’re new to mocktails, they have all of the fun of your average cocktail with none of the liquor. They can make any moment sparkle plus they are healthier for you than a cocktail and, in the Summer heat, refresh you far better.

With Dasani Sparking  it’s easy to get creative and come up with your own signature mocktail. Our two favorite varieties,Tropical Pineapple and Raspberry Lemonade, are refreshingly delicious alone but you can really amp up the sparkle and make your mocktail something special with a few extra ingredients and Dasani Sparkling.

1 jalapeno, sliced into rings

For the Cocktail

2 1-inch thick slice of grilled pineapple, chilled

3 tbsp fresh lime juice (juice of 1 lime)

2 tbsp agave, to taste

¾ can  Dasani Sparkling Tropical Pineapple

Crushed ice

Grilled pineapple and lime wedges for garnish

Tajin spice for rimming your glass

grilled pineapple

mixing Dasani sparkling

Cut your pineapple into 1 inch thick rings, discarding the rind and removing the core.

Preheat your grill to medium-high and oil it lightly. Grill your pineapple for 4-5 minutes on each side, until you get nice grill marks and it begins to soften slightly.

Place the grilled pieces in a bowl and allow to cool completely in the refrigerator.

Add 2 slices of the grilled and chilled pineapple (and any juices that have accumulated in the bowl), lime juice, agave.

Combine in a food processor and process until smooth.

Add the Dasani Sparkling.

Run a lime slice or pineapple wedge around the lip of your glass and dip into Tajín to cover.

Add crushed ice to your glass, pour in your margarita mixture along with two slices of jalapeño.

Garnish with extra grilled pineapple.

Dasani at Target

My mocktail combines the tropical fruitiness of pineapple with a spicy hint of jalapeno. We plan on making this our Summer drink when we entertain this year to give all our guests a refreshing, alcohol free option.  To create this mocktail the first stop is Target to pick up your Dasani Sparkling and be sure to use Target cartwheel which expires on 5/14/16 for some extra savings on your purchase. You can try any of the Target beverages and your own unique ingredients to create a signature mocktail and invent a #NewWayToSparkle this Summer, yourself.  Or give our new Mocktail a try and let me know what you think!

  1. This drink is calling my name. Love everything about it. Will have to run to Target and take advantage of the Cartwheel for those extra savings. Thanks for the recipe. Cheers!

  2. Se ve deliciosa la bebida; muy exótica y picante la combinación. A los mexicanos nos encantan los chiles jalapeños, así que de seguro la preparo. Mil gracias por compartir.
