Driven by her interest in history and culture, Gabriela studied Art History in Buenos Aires, Argentina and then returned to her country Guatemala where she worked in cultural institutions such as art galleries, artist residency programs, and teaching Art History. Her interest in the way art can relate to social and personal development led her to work in a special needs education program and a Guatemalan NGO. One of her passions in life is traveling which has led her to travel to foreign places, to discover new cultures and ways of living. In her free time she enjoys reading, writing, practicing yoga, trekking and learning new things.
